LAW ENFORCEMENT AND POLYGRAPH WORK EXPERIENCE

Hobson’s Polygraph Service was initially established as a part time business in 1984. In December 2005, Larry Hobson retired as the Assistant Chief Investigator and Chief Polygraph Examiner after working 35 years in the Criminal Justice System. However, he continued to work full time as a private polygraph examiner in California until he moved to Colorado in August 2009 where he re-established Hobson’s Polygraph Service in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Active member and recognized as a Certified Polygraph Examiner with
the following state and national polygraph associations: California Association
of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE), American Association of Police Polygraphers (AAPP),
and American Polygraph Association (APA) and Colorado Association of Polygraph
Examiners (CAPE).
Administered more than 5000 polygraph examinations with over 26 years of experience.
Attended over 2,500 hours of continuing education involving polygraph related courses,
conferences, and training seminars.
Testified as an expert witness in California Superior Courts in cases involving polygraph issues.
Certified by the national polygraph associations (APA and AAPP) and the California
polygraph association (CAPE) to conduct Post-Conviction Sex Offender Testing (PCSOT)
and Civil Commitment Institutional Testing (CCIT) for state and local agencies involved
in the supervision, treatment, and management of convicted sex offenders.
